Vice President Joseph Boakai Meets Leaders of the Four Concerned Parties

Monrovia, Liberia ( Nov. 7,2017). Barely a day after the what is considered the most heralded legal judgement ( Supreme Court Ruling), leaders of the four parties have had a closed door meeting with Liberty Party’s Cllr. Charles W. brumskine at the National Headquarters of Liberty Party, Congo Town, Liberia.

The four political Leaders who attended the Closed door meeting are: Vice President Joseph Nyumah Boakai UP, Hon. Benoni Wilfred Urey, ALP, Hon. Alexander Benedict Cummings, ALP and Cllr. Charles Walker. Brumskine, LP.  These political leaders recently joined ranks with Liberty Party candidate Leader Cllr. Brumskine in seeking redress at the Supreme Court of Liberia regarding matters relating to electoral malpractices, systemic fraud, and wanton irregularities that wittingly surrounded the October Polls / elections.

At the Press Conference after the closed door meeting, the four political leaders overwhelmingly endorsed united front as they seek legal remedy and as well concurred to pursue every matter attributing to the rigging of October 10 elections.  Though the these political leaders could not disclose what was principally discussed in terms of subsequently collaboration but they equally agreed to uphold the values of Liberia’s jurisprudence and seek to adjudicate their grievances through the Court.

In marks, like Hon. Urey, Unity Party’s candidate, Vice President Boakai maintains that the gone polls were marred by systemic fraud, wanton irregularities with zero tolerance to free, fair and transparent elections. “We together reject the outcome of October 10 elections and we would seek the legal remedy thru the court” He averred.

Additionally, ANC’s Alexander Benedict Cummings said “like in my many speeches during political rallies, we can not keep doing something over and over and expect different results, We do not say that since past elections perhaps were marred by irregularities and accepted so we should accept the account of gone polls. He further asserted that though they have several issues relating to unity but in subsequent time, they Will disclose.

Meanwhile, Cllr. Brumskine in an apparent excited move, he thanked the leaders of the four parties for the supports and solidarity shown while pursuing his legal proceedings. He hopes to see that good will definitely triumph over evil in Liberia.
